New alpaca owners always have questions and want to
know where we get the stuff we've come accustomed to using. So, I decided to put a list on my website to help all!
Trial & error has helped us a lot, and we're trying to pass this info along for you to skip the "error" part

Minerals for Alpacas
Fly Spray--A Must Have!
This is all natural and doesn't have the harsh ingredients that horse fly sprays have. I spray this on myself,
my dogs, my kids, the cria and alpacas---right in their faces (hold at least 8" away).Halters and Leads
Useful Items: Mallon 3-Way Adjustable Halters - Llamas & Alpacas The small works good for weanlings with short noses...neat clip is
easy on and off!
Useful Items: Alpaca and Llama Zephyr Halters I buy Mediums for most regular sized alpacas, Small for
weanlings, and Large for larger alpacas or the ones with the longer noses.
Useful Items: Halters and Leads I buy the standard flat leads.
Take the time to check out the site!!! I buy the toe nail clippers (under everyday care); also the flat back
buckets, heated water buckets, bean rake and bucket, bucket holder, clear bags for fiber.
Also, under cria care--Anal
thermometer (you can get the digital ones that are faster at the drug store); iodine, pritchard nipple, stethescope, plastic
shoulder sleeves, vet wrap, cria scale (hanging), graduated bottle, aspirator.

Evan and Lori at Caliente Alpaca Transport are GREAT! Lori
is great at being in the "office" when you need her! She's only an email or phone call away! She is on top
of things and schedules Evan so well that you know just when he's coming! Evan will call you the day before and even
hours before he is to be at your farm! He's on time and reliable. I trust my animals with them! Don't hesitate,
they're great! Oh, and reasonably priced to boot!

Hay
Feeders
These are GREAT...and so cool! A local man makes these for us...his name
is Jack Myers and he is located in Dover, PA. These are very sturdy, very stylish and very useful! They keep the
hay at an elevated level and keep it dry! Jack uses either pressure treated lumber or old barn wood, whatever you choose!
He will custom make these to whatever your needs are. He's wonderful! If you're interested in one of these unique
feeders, please email me and I will give you Jack's number!

Brixton Hill Farms. We buy our hay here...and our alpacas love it!!! It's 2nd cutting, nice and green...and they
